The Salisbury Township Police Department and Fire Safety Office would like to congratulate Investigator Griffin and Investigator Mertl.

Investigator Inspector Griffin was nationally certified as an Evidence Collection Technician with the International Association of Arson Investigators. This consisted of a practical test on 12 stations of evidence collection including DNA, Blood and fluids, soil, and fire evidence. In addition, 30 hours of classroom training was required.

Investigator Inspector Mertl was nationally certified as a Fire Investigation Technician with the International Association of Arson Investigators. This consisted of 40 hours of classroom training and a written test based on skills learned with demonstrated during the process.

Both of these certifications improve our Fire Marshal Division and ensure the highest quality of service provided to the residents and visitors of Salisbury Township.
