Weekly Press Release April 14-23, 2026
Arson
On April 18, 2026 officers and the fire department responded to Marlow Street at Lehigh Avenue for a report of a motor vehicle fire. After the fire was extinguished officers determined that the fire had been intentionally set. Residents in this area are asked to check home security video for motion alerts showing a person on foot in this area between 10:30pm and 11:30pm on April 18. Wanted Person Arrested
On April 18, 2026 in the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue a 60-year-old male with active arrest warrants was taken into custody and transported to Lehigh County Prison.
Trespassing
On April 20, 2026 a 31-year-old female with no known address was given a final warning for trespass after she entered the property of Supersets Gym, located at 3300 Lehigh Street.
Disorderly Conduct Arrest
On April 22, 2026 a 16-year-old male was charged with disorderly conduct after engaging in a fight with another student while inside Salisbury High School.
Pedestrian Struck
On April 14, 2026 a 54-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle in the parking lot of Giant, located at 3300 Lehigh Street. The motor vehicle was being operated by a 32-year-old female from Allentown. The male suffered minor injury and was transported to the hospital for care.
School Grounds Violations
On April 23, 2026 two 16-year-old students at Salisbury High School were charged after being found to be in possession of vaping devices while on school grounds.
Fraud
On April 16, 2026 a 29-year-old female from the 200 block of East Lexington Street reported being contacted over the phone by who she later discovered was a person pretending to be a Verizon Wireless employee. Just after providing the caller with her personal information, she discovered that money was missing from her bank account and various new credit cards were attempted to be opened in her name.
On April 21, 2026 a 72-year-old female from the 1200 block of Fairview Road reported unauthorized charges on her credit card.
Hit and Run
On April 20, 2026 a 21-year-old male from Salisbury Township reported that someone struck and damaged his parked vehicle in the parking lot of the South Mall, located at 3300 Lehigh Street. This case in under investigation.
On April 20, 2026 a 51-year-old female from Salisbury Township reported a white male driving a dark green Subaru striking her vehicle in the area of South Ellsworth Street and East Montgomery Street followed by feeling the scene. No injuries were reported.
Mutual Aid
On April 15, 2026 officers assisted Allentown Police in the 1700 block of Keystone Avenue for a disturbance. Officer assisted as needed.
On April 18, 2026 officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police on South Cedar Crest Blvd at Devonshire Road at a motor vehicle crash. Officers assisted as needed.

On April 14, 2026 involving a patient at Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd.
On April 15, 2026 involving a patient at Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1270 South Cedar Crest Blvd.
On April 15, 2026 between family members in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue.
On April 15, 2026 between family members at Lindberg Park.
On April 18, 2026 between a former couple in the 1200 block of Fairfax Street.
On April 18, 2026 between visitors at Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd.
On April 18, 2026 a domestic disturbance in the 1200 block of Vermont Avenue.
On April 19, 2026 a domestic disturbance in the parking lot of the South Mall, located at 3300 Lehigh Street.
On April 21, 2026 involving a resident at Rittenhouse Village, located at 1263 South Cedar Crest Blvd.
On April 21, 2026 between a visitor and staff at Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd.
On April 22, 2026 involving a 43-year-old intoxicated female at the Commix Hotel, located at 3245 West Emmaus Avenue.
Disorderly Group
On April 17, 2026 in the evening hours officers responded to the parking lot of the South Mall for a disorderly group of people / noise disturbance. Officers located a pack of 50-70 vehicles that pulled into the parking lot of the South Mall that had loud music playing and excessive engine revving. Officers were able to gain control of the situation and the motorists left a short time later.
Criminal Mischief Arrest
On April 14, 2026 a 29-year-old female from Bethlehem was charged with criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. The female was said to have initiated a disturbance followed by puncturing two vehicle tires of the victim, who’s motor vehicle was parked on East Emmaus Avenue at Trout Drive, causing approximately $400.00 in damage.
School Bus Violations
Between April 14 and April 23, a total of 8 school bus video violations were approved bringing this school year’s total to 216 approved violations.
