Disorderly Group
On April 24, 2026 in the evening hours a group of about 50 motor vehicles entered the parking lot of the South Mall, revving their engines and blasting loud music. Officers dispersed the group a short time later.
Public Drunk Arrest
On April 30, 2026 a 44-year-old male from the 800 block of East Lexington Street was charged for public drunkenness and obstructing highways after allegedly walking in the middle of East Emmaus Avenue while drunk.
Mutual Aid
On April 28, 20S26 officers assisted Upper Saucon Township Police in the 4700 block of Route 309 for a report of a burglary in progress. Officers assisted in locating the male suspect and taking him into custody.
On May 1, 2026 officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police after a pursuit ended on South 24th Street and Lindberg Avenue after the offending motor vehicle crashed. Officers assisted as needed.
Fraud
On April 25, 2026 a 48-year-old female from Allentown reported purchasing an Apple iPhone and two pairs of Apple air pods for $1,000.00 from a stranger while at the South Mall, located at 3300 Lehigh Street. The female later discovered that the iPhone was counterfeit. This case is currently under investigation.
Disturbances
On April 24, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital between a discharged patient who refused to leave and staff.
On April 24, 2026 regarding property lines between two neighbors in the 2800 block of Edgemont Drive.
On April 26, 2026 a domestic disturbance in the 1500 block of Broadway.
On April 26, 2026 two domestic disturbance calls in the 1000 block of Dodson Street.
On April 27, 2026 a domestic disturbance in the 1100 block of East Emmaus Avenue.
On April 27, 2026 regarding property lines between two neighbors in the 40 block of Birch Drive.
On April 27, 20226 in the 70 block of Birch Drive between a resident and an unknown individual driving a vehicle.
On April 27, 2026 a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Mountain Park Road.
On April 28, 2026 a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Marlow Street.
School Grounds Violation
On April 30, 2026 a 17-year-old male high school student was cited at Salisbury High School for being in possession of a vaping device.
School Bus Violations
Between April 23 and May 1, 2026, a total of six school bus video violations were approved bringing this school year’s total to 222 approved violations.
