K9 Drug Arrest
On May 30, 2026, officers stopped a 46‑year‑old male from Reading for a vehicle code violation on South Cedar Crest Blvd. During the stop, officers determined that the male had provided a false name. Further investigation revealed that he had a suspended driver’s license and an active arrest warrant. A short time later, K9 Echo was deployed and alerted on the vehicle, leading to the discovery of illegal street drugs inside. The male was taken into custody and charged with Unsworn Falsification to Authorities, False Identification to Law Enforcement, Simple Possession, Driving While Operating Privileges Are Suspended or Revoked, and Operation of a Vehicle Without an Official Certificate of Inspection. He was transported to Lehigh County Prison.
Protection from Abuse Order Violation
On May 27, 2026 a 45-year-old male from the 800 block of Gilly Avenue was arrested after violating a Protection from Abuse Order.
Found Juvenile
On May 27, 2026 a concerned citizen dropped off a juvenile at police headquarters after observing her walking along Interstate 78. It was later determined that the juvenile was a run-away from Allentown City.
Wanted Person Arrested
On May 24, 2026 officers stopped a 20-year-old male from Easton after he was clocked operating his motor vehicle in excess of 75 miles per hour in a posted 40 mile per hour zone in the 500 block of East Emmaus Avenue. Upon stopping the vehicle officers determined that the driver had an active arrest warrant from Pennsylvania State Police. He was cited for the traffic violations followed by being transported to Lehigh County Prison.
Unwanted Person
On May 27, 2026 at a home in the 1900 block of Church Road for an unwanted person. Officers assisted as needed.

Credit Card Fraud
On May 28, 2026 a 47-year-old male from the 500 block of East Paoli Street reported that an unknown actor attempted to make $2,000.00 in unauthorized charges on his credit card. The transactions were blocked prior to processing.
Mutual Aid
On May 26, 2026 officers assisted Emmaus Police at Lehigh Valley Hospital to assist with an uncooperative patient who was brought in by Emmaus EMS/PD.
On May 26, 2026 officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police on a traffic stop involving two motorcycles in the 1800 block of S. 4th Street in Allentown City. One of the motorcycle operators fled the scene. The second, who remained on scene, was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
On May 27, 2026 officers were requested for mutual aid assistance in the 2300 block of South 10th Street in Allentown City for a domestic disturbance. Officers assisted as needed.
On May 27, 2026 officers were requested to assist Fountain Hill police officers in serving an arrest warrant in the 900 block of Long Street. Officers assisted as needed.
On May 28, 2026 officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police on an EMS call on Interstate 78 at Cedar Crest Blvd. Officers assisted as needed.

Traffic Control
On May 27, 2026 officers assisted with traffic control in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue after a truck took down wires just north on South 4th Street in Allentown City.
