Retail Theft Arrests

On June 8, 2026, following a two‑week investigation, officers identified and charged a 30‑year‑old and a 38‑year‑old Allentown female with Retail Theft and Corruption of Minors after they shoplifted $803.96 worth of merchandise from Giant, located at 3300 Lehigh Street. The females were accompanied by a minor during the theft.

Theft From Vehicles Arrest

On June 12, 2026, a 40‑year‑old male from Boyertown was charged with Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition, Receiving Stolen Property, and Criminal Mischief after police identified him as the individual who broke into multiple vehicles last week at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd.

Theft From Residence

On June 12, 2026, a 56‑year‑old male from South 24th Street reported the theft of a firearm from his home. This case remains under investigation.

Unwanted Person

On June 10, 2026, officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd, for an unwanted person. The person left with incident.

Mutual Aid

On June 11, 2026 officers assisted Allentown Police in the area of Devonshire Road at Keystone Road at a motor vehicle crash. Officers assisted as needed.

On June 11, 2026 officers assisted Emmaus Police in the area of East Harrison Street and State Avenue for a motor vehicle crash. Officers assisted as needed.

Disturbances

On June 9, 2026 in the 1400 block of Salisbury Road between neighbors over the feeding of wild birds.

On June 9, 2026 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, located at 1200 South Cedar Crest Blvd, between a patient and staff.

Joint Departmental Traffic Safety Detail

On June 12, 2026 officers from the Salisbury Township Police Department, along with Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police, conducted targeted sobriety enforcement in the 1600 block of Broadway. This operation focused on identifying motorists who chose to drive drunk or high and posed a danger to others on the roadway. Three DUI arrests were made, one drug arrest was made, one wanted person was located, one careless driving citation, one driving with a suspended license citation, and two seatbelt citations were issued. These enforcement efforts will continue throughout the summer as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our community safe.

School Bus Violations

Between June 8 and June 13, 2026, fifteen school bus video violations were approved, bringing the school year’s total to 261 approved violations.
