Prowling at Night Arrest

On August 17, 2026, officers arrested a 28‑year‑old Allentown man after a resident in the 1000 block of Barnsdale Road reported seeing him loitering around his property during the evening hours. He was located by police, taken into custody, and charged with Loitering/Prowling at Night. He was transported to the Lehigh County Prison.

Harassment Arrest

On August 18, 2026, officers charged a 49‑year‑old woman from the 1400 block of Harriet Avenue with Unlawful Dissemination of an Intimate Image and Harassment after she allegedly sent an intimate image of another person to a third party via cellphone message. She was taken into custody the following day and transported to the Lehigh County Prison.

Trespassing Arrest

On August 16, 2026, officers responded to Lehigh Valley Hospital for a disturbance involving a patient and staff. The patient, a 53‑year‑old woman from Pottstown, refused to leave the facility after being discharged and began to struggle with staff and police. She was charged with Simple Trespass and Disorderly Conduct.

DUI Arrests

On August 15, 2026, officers stopped a 30‑year‑old Bethlehem man in the 200 block of East Emmaus Avenue for a motor vehicle code violation. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

On August 16, 2026, officers stopped a 27‑year‑old Bethlehem woman in the 1600 block of Broadway for a motor vehicle code violation. She was subsequently arrested for DUI.

On August 16, 2026, officers stopped a 49‑year‑old Bethlehem man in the 200 block of East Emmaus Avenue for a motor vehicle code violation. He was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Wanted Person Arrested

On August 18, 2026, a 65‑year‑old woman from the 1500 block of East Emmaus Avenue turned herself in at police headquarters on an active arrest warrant for assault. She was taken into custody and transported to the Lehigh County Prison.

Theft

On August 20, 2026, officers responded to a residence in the 50 block of Oak Hill Road after a 24‑year‑old man reported the theft of a Kawasaki KX125 dirt bike, a Kymco Compagno 110i scooter, and an unidentified gas‑powered cycle from his garage. The investigation is ongoing.

Missing Juvenile

On August 18, 2026, officers responded to a residence in the 1400 block of East Susquehanna Street for a report of a missing autistic juvenile. Officers searched the surrounding area and located the juvenile a short time later, safely returning him to his family.

Fraud

On August 13, 2026, a 59‑year‑old woman from the 1600 block of Broadway reported that an unknown actor made an unauthorized charge totaling $5,206.25 on her credit card. The investigation is ongoing.

On August 18, 2026, a 23‑year‑old Philadelphia man reported being scammed out of $1,500 after sending money via Cash App to an unknown individual for the purchase of a motor vehicle, a Polaris, and a generator. When he arrived at a Salisbury Township address to pick up the items, he discovered the transaction was fraudulent. This case remains under investigation.

Disturbance

On August 15, 2026, officers responded to a residence in the 1200 block of Potomac Street for a domestic disturbance.

On August 16, 2026, officers responded to the area of 33rd Street SW and Berger Street for a domestic disturbance.

On August 16, 2026, officers responded to a residence in the 800 block of East Susquehanna Street for a domestic disturbance.

On August 17, 2026, officers responded to Laubach Park for a disturbance involving juveniles. No injuries were reported.

Back To School Traffic Safety

The Salisbury Township Police Department reminds drivers that the start of the school year is just days away. We urge motorists to stay alert for children walking to and from school and for stopped school buses picking up and dropping off students. Additional officers will be on patrol monitoring traffic safety, and school bus cameras will be utilized to enforce violations involving the illegal passing of school buses.
